New Buses for the Department of Education

PDOE Press – On January 06, 2023, the Department of Education received four brand new school buses that were purchased from a local entrepreneur, Mr. Aspen Apis, the owner of AXT-Export and Trading Company. The arrival of these buses is a welcome addition for the department, as it will provide a safer and more comfortable mode of transportation for students.

To celebrate the arrival of the new buses, a handover ceremony was held at the Governor’s office on January 13, 2023, at 3 pm in the afternoon. The Chief of Primary Education Mr. Peter Ramirez as the acting Director of Education, accepted the buses on behalf of the Department of Education, from Governor Oliver and the Director of DOTA, Ms. Elnei.

The purchase of these new buses from a young local entrepreneur showcases the commitment of the Department of Education to supporting local businesses. The owner of AXT-Export and Trading Company, Mr. Aspen Apis, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to work with the Department of Education and provide a much-needed service for the community.
