PDOE Press – From November 18–20, 2025, the Systems Transformation Grant (STG) workshop focusing on Pohnpei Studies resources was held at the Tuna Commission Annex. The workshop was a collaborative effort organized by the NDOE to enhance educational resources and teaching strategies for Pohnpei Studies. Among those in attendance were Stanley S. Etse, Director of the Department of Education, along with office support staff, school principals, teachers, and community representatives.

The three-day workshop included presentations, hands-on activities, and group discussions aimed at developing and improving culturally relevant teaching materials. Participants engaged in curriculum planning, shared best practices, and explored innovative approaches to integrating local history, language, and culture into the classroom.
